How do I download my observation data?

This page will walk you through downloading previously entered observations for your project.

Begin by logging into Project Leader.
From the home screen, you have two ways to get to the download menu. You can:
1. Mouse over the Field Observations tab and select Download
2. Click on Download under the Field Observations section.
You will then be directed to the Project Downloader tool, where you will see all the projects for which you have Project Leader access. Select which project or projects you wish to download data for. You may filter the list by typing a project name in the box; you may also select a pre-defined Program. You may also choose to download data for all sampling units in each project, or a subset.
Next, select the type of observation data you are interested in. You may download multiple data types at once.
Enter a date range for the data you want to retrieve.
If you wish to also download metadata about your sampling units, select the format or formats you would like.
Click Download to generate a zip file with your requested datasets.
