Protocol Manager
Overview
In fall of 2025, Protocol Manager will launch, providing a new modern platform with better security and a better user experience for managing the protocols within a project.
New features
Ability to expand each protocol for more detail, including a direct link to the Protocol Definition page in the Protocol Search tool when a specific protocol is selected
Ability to filter by Protocol Type in all views
Ability to search by text string in all views
Deprecated features
Ability to export protocol list to HTML, DOC, or PDF format (CSV is retained)
Ability to generate a Print view of the protocol list
Ability to view and edit project-protocol focus species lists *
* This feature was never fully implemented in Biologists. Making edits through the Protocol Manager page has no impact on Biologists workflows, so it is no longer needed. This was used as part of the Citizen Science application, which has been deprecated.
